Dear Joy is a music project created by the singer/songwriter and composer Lou Vilstrup. She recorded her first demo EP togehter with Steve Belgrave with a sold out launch at Old Queens Head, London. Her words and melodies are intertwined with lyrics telling stories from every corner of the heart. 
In September 2014, she was nominated for the Best of British Unsigned in the Best Female category, which led to various radio plays. She has co-written with James Bryan - produer of Nelly Furtado, Jason Mraz to name a few, and is continously collaborating, writing and lending her vocals on various other projects. She has performed on world stages for the talented Qatari composer Dana Al Fardan , and written music for brands such as Costa Coffee, Thomsons, and is now performing and co-writing the music for contemporary dance company Made by Katie Green.
